These are tailor’s fabric scissors from Japan. The steel is blue #1 steel, a high carbon steel from Hitachi. This can rust if not cared for property, so please keep these scissors clean and dry. Also, if you will be storing them for extended periods of time, you may want to give them a light coating of tsubaki oil. These are intended for use on fabric, not foods.
