Diamond 500 Grit Stone

The 500 Grit Splash and Go Diamond Stone cuts very quickly on all types of steel, stainless included. Although the actual stone is 2mm thick, it is extremely wear resistant and dishes very slowly. With normal use, it will stay flat for years. For this fact, it is an excellent option for uraoshi and wide bevel sharpening. It also comes with a synthetic nagura for reconditioning the surface of the stone when it gets loaded up. The stone comes mounted on a thick aluminum base that will not warp if you decide to keep it submerged in water.
